Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• CPR certification issued by AHA or Red Cross.
• Professional certification in the applicable area within 60 months of hire/transfer

Responsibilities

• Assist Nursing Manager to meet patient and staff needs.
• Plan and coordinate staffing schedules; collaborate with Nursing Supervisors.
• Oversee discipline and performance appraisals of staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and unit policies.
• Support orientation and continuing education of department staff.
• Contribute to budget administration and resource planning.
• Foster patient- and family-centered care and safety initiatives.
