BAS HealthCare is seeking an Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage in a 23-bed ICU in Las Cruces, NM. The role includes 12-hour shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a) with a maximum of 23 patient encounters per shift.

Candidates must hold an NM NP license, be enrolled in the NM PCF for COI, and possess ACLS certification. Credentialing is expected within 30 days, with documents due within 14 days of bid acceptance.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico license is mandatory; license number must be provided at bid time.
• Provider must be enrolled in the NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for COI purposes.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Board certification is required at minimum; certification eligibility is acceptable.
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days and documents must be submitted within 14 days of bid acceptance.
• IMLC not accepted; NM license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens ICU coverage with shifts 7a–7p and 7p–7a.
• Handle up to 23 patient encounters per shift in a 23-bed department.
