BAS HealthCare is seeking an Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage in a 23-bed ICU in Las Cruces, NM. The role includes 12-hour shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a) with a maximum of 23 patient encounters per shift.

Candidates must hold an NM NP license, be enrolled in the NM PCF for COI, and possess ACLS certification. Credentialing is expected within 30 days, with documents due within 14 days of bid acceptance.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico license is mandatory; license number must be provided at bid time.
• Provider must be enrolled in the NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for COI purposes.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Board certification is required at minimum; certification eligibility is acceptable.
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days and documents must be submitted within 14 days of bid acceptance.
• IMLC not accepted; NM license required.

Responsibilities

Job Details:

• Provide locum tenens coverage in the ICU setting with shifts available 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Maximum of 23 patient encounters per shift in a 23-bed department
• Active New Mexico license is mandatory - license number must be provided at time of bid
• Provider must be enrolled in the NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for COI purposes
• Board certification required at minimum board certification eligible level
• ACLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days - all credentialing documents must be submitted within 14 days of bid acceptance
• CAQH Questionnaire must be completed prior to start date
• Provider must be fully credentialed and enrolled prior to start date
• Assignment start date is ASAP on an ongoing basis
• Licensed in NM only - IMLC not accepted

Compensation:
