Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support a CVICU (8 beds) and ICU (22 beds). The role involves diverse critical care responsibilities, including procedures, collaboration with a team of Attending Physicians, and 7a-7p shifts.

Minimum 2 years NP experience and at least 1 year ICU NP experience are required. Orientation will start with a credentialing process, and a commitment of at least one shift per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years clinical nursing experience in area of intended practice.
• Graduate of NP program approved by the State of Texas; MSN preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certification and Texas licensure required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform procedures and assist in invasive bedside interventions as needed.
• Triage admissions, field RN calls, and coordinate timely care delivery.
