Zusammenfassung

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support CVICU and ICU services in a high-volume academic hospital setting. You will join a team of NPs and Attending Physicians, sharing responsibilities across shifts and contributing to direct patient care from admission through follow-up.

The role requires 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ICU NP capacity, and the ability to perform critical procedures. Orientation spans 2–3 days weekly for two weeks.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas; Masters of Nursing preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license; board certification in area of specialty (ANCC/NCC/AANP/AACN) or related.
• Experience: Two (2) years clinical nursing experience in area of intended practice.
• Skills: Must be able to perform procedures.
• Shift: Minimum 1 shift per week required.
• Orientation: 2–3 days/week for at least 2 weeks during orientation.

• Provides assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient needs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Performs procedures and participates in rounds with attending physicians; documents care per policy.
• Ensures high standard of care and adherence to MHHS policies, budgets, and quality initiatives.
