Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is looking to hire a Nurse Apprentice to join our incredible nursing team. This position is for our ICU located at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, working a 21 bed unit with a mixed patient population needing critical care.

The schedule is 3 shifts every two weeks from 7pm-7:30am and requires flexibility for weeknights, weekends, and holidays. You will perform patient care activities under RN supervision to support personal needs and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing is required
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network is required at hire in all units
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients under the direction and supervision of the RN
