Job summary

You will work within a 73-bed acute care environment with advanced technology. Ideal candidates hold an ADN with current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license or OK compact license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS within 14 days of hire.
• PALS within 14 days of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care per BMC standards to deliver efficient, effective patient care.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate growth and development knowledge across the life span to assess data and plan care.
• Plan and modify the plan of care to deliver quality patient care as per policies.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.
• Delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff based on patient need and staff qualifications.

Education

ADN from an accredited nursing program

Current RN License or Compact License (OK)

BLS certification within 14 days of hire/transfer

PALS within 14 days of hire
