Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, TX is recruiting a Registered Nurse to join our ICU team on a full-time basis. You will provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and nurses, and ensure high-quality outcomes for critically ill patients.

We're seeking caring, knowledgeable professionals with 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care; BCLS/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
  • Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
  • Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
  • Collaborate to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain infection control and safety standards.
  • Document care thoroughly in medical records.
  • Engage in professional development and performance improvement.
