Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Staff RN to join a hospital-based team on the 0.9 FTE, night shift (3 twelve-hour shifts per week). This role uses your nursing expertise in a multidisciplinary environment to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to a best-in-class nursing culture.

You will collaborate with the nursing team to improve patient outcomes, uphold safety, and support professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent within five years
• RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of an education agreement
• Advanced degree in Nursing preferred
• Current Washington State RN license or MLS
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
