Job summary

Texas Health Presbyterian Allen is seeking a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the ICU nocturnist team in Allen, TX. The role requires ICU experience, TX licensure, and readiness for 12-hour night shifts in a closed ICU.

You will deliver autonomous, high-quality care for medical, surgical, cardiac, and ICU patients with access to subspecialists and a full Epic EMR suite. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and CME support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with ICU APP experience and ability to manage ventilated patients.
• Licensed to practice in Texas and authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be comfortable with nocturnal overnight shifts and ICU procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical/surgical/ICU patients in an 8-bed unit.
• Demonstrate autonomous clinical decision-making with support from subspecialists.
• Perform ICU procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations, chest tubes; document in Epic.
