Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU to provide delivery of safe patient care during nights on a 7p-7a schedule with weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, direct patient care, and guiding patient/family teaching, while ensuring privacy and coordinating with physicians.

Desired qualifications include current RN license, BLS, ACLS, CC RN preferred, and BSN preferred; comprehensive benefits and sign-on

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate on hire; maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire; maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• CCR N certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in ICU.
• Direct patient and family teaching; guide nursing staff.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
