Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU. This full-time night-shift role runs 7:00pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends and involves direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting.

You will assess and treat patients, coordinate with physicians, and educate families while upholding strict standards of care and patient privacy. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year as staff RN in acute care; critical care preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing staff while maintaining ICU standards.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and document clinical data.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
