Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across multiple units. The RN will coordinate care, perform thorough patient assessments, and administer medications within established protocols, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

The role involves collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team, education for patients and families, and participation in life-saving interventions when required.

Qualificações

• Uses nursing process to provide patient-centered care (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinates and delivers high-quality care in accordance with policies and orders.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure outcome-focused care.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities as appropriate.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions, treatment, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational protocols.
• Performs thorough patient assessments, documents findings, and reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects, documenting administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope and supports care planning.
• Participates in life-saving interventions and code team activities when needed.
• Educates patients and families, promoting understanding of treatment and post-discharge care.
• Monitors equipment (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators) and ensures safety.
• Contributes to audits, chart reviews, and regulatory compliance.
