Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This assignment is a 13-week contract in the United States, with a day shift 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and rotating to nights roughly every 12 shifts, plus every other weekend.

You will monitor critically ill patients, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with the care team. BSN and RN license are required; ACLS/BLS certifications; Epic charting experience mandator y; charge

Qualifications

RN license is required.
BSN degree is required.
Minimum 2 years MICU experience.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Charge experience preferred.
Epic charting experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient conditions, ensuring timely intervention and care adjustments.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records of patient progress.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and expected outcomes.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Float to ICU, intermediate, and telemetry units as needed.
