Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in nursing processes to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delivers care following evidence-based practices and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
• Delegates appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel.
