Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance, CA is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for ICU on a part-time night shift. The role supports patient care by coordinating with the bedside RN and Nurse Leader to maintain safety and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year experience as Unit Secretary or Nurse Assistant in a comparable size facility, preferably within the same or similar specialty.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Nurse Leader.
