Mass General Brigham is seeking an ICU/ED Floor Pharmacist to optimize drug therapy, identify and resolve drug-related problems, and improve patient outcomes. The role may involve prescribing under collaborative drug therapy management agreements and requires adherence to state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, current Massachusetts Pharmacist license, and 2–3 years of experience.

Formación

• Minimum qualifications include a BS Pharmacy Degree; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred.
• Current registration as a Registered Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR) preferred.
• Pharmacist experience of 2–3 years preferred.
• Extensive knowledge across IV admixtures, drug information, ambulatory, manufacturing and distribution; strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates the activities and delivery of pharmacy services.
• Supervises and verifies the accuracy of work by support personnel during shifts.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations; participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Documents and reports clinical interventions, medication errors and adverse events.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports ongoing staff training.
