Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Specialty Medical Intensive Care RD to provide inpatient nutrition care in Charleston, SC. The role requires CNSC certification within 12 months and RD licensure with potential relocation support.

The dietitian will place tubes, manage PN macronutrients and collaborate with the ICU team to optimize patient outcomes. A signing bonus and relocation allowance are offered along with education and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible for examination.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice or willingness to obtain licensure.
• Specialty certification when required for the role.
• Two years of work experience in a specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for ICU patients.
• Education: provide nutrition guidance to patients, families, staff and community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: apply current research to diet manuals, policies and protocols.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: partner with food service management to reach patient satisfaction goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: support growth of staff and dietetic interns.
