Job summary

University of Kentucky Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Clinical/PRN ICU Pool/On-Call with ADN or BSN credentials to provide critical care nursing in the Lexington, KY area. Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license, Temporary Work Permit or Provisional license with good standing and BLS certification.
• BSN plus at least 18 months ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• On-call, per diem ICU nurse with per diem pool responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, comprehensive patient-centered care for ICU patients.
• Assess, document, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Deliver direct patient care and ensure patient/family satisfaction.
• Train and delegate tasks to Nursing Care Technicians and collaborate with physicians.
