Job summary

THOM Thomas Hospitals in South Charleston, West Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional inpatient care during night shifts. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families to achieve quality outcomes.

Must hold a current WV RN license (or eNLC) and obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. Permanent licensure must be obtained when required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the state of WV or multi-state via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Permanent RN license must be obtained within required timeframes.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in an inpatient setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans with the care team.
• Delegate tasks and supervise assigned personnel; monitor patient responses.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to ensure safe, effective care.
