Job summary
Kaleida Health's Buffalo General Medical Center is seeking a Critical Care Nurse for the 8N unit. This full-time night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) offers flexible staffing arrangements and a dedicated team caring for critically ill patients.
The role requires an NYS Registered Nurse license, BLS and ACLS, and prior critical care experience. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists and support staff to deliver evidence-based care and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Requires NYS RN license and current ACLS/BLS certifications.
- Ability to perform in critical care settings.
- Experience in hospital environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients and provide nursing care per physician orders.
- Monitor and interpret patient status, respond to emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in ICU settings.
