Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA is hiring an RN for the Medical ICU. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The role requires an active RN license, ACLS, and BLS within 30 days. One year of RN ICU or acute care experience is preferred; this position is full-time with a day shift and rotating weekends.

Competenze

• Active RN license in state of Louisiana or eligible
• ACLS certification within 30 days of employment
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of start date
• 1 year RN experience in ICU or acute care setting preferred

Mansioni

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or functions as ordered by the medical provider and documents care in the chart.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up.
• Explains non-medical follow-up measures such as diet, exercise and lifestyle changes for self-management.
• Implements evidence-based practices and supports quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver holistic patient care.
