St. Elizabeth Physicians seeks a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to deliver comprehensive inpatient care in the MICU. The APP will assess, diagnose, treat and manage acutely ill adults in a multidisciplinary, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities include detailed assessments, treatment planning, ordering diagnostics, procedures, rounds, patient education and meticulous EMR documentation while collaborating with physicians, nurses and other specialists.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
• DEA registration and applicable certifications as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive critical care management for patients in the MICU.
• Perform histories, physical exams, consultations and ongoing reassessments.
• Develop, implement and modify treatment plans with the care team.
• Order, interpret and analyze labs, diagnostics and imaging.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and credentialing.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists and case managers.
• Participate in daily rounds and communicate with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Uphold organizational policies, guidelines and patient confidentiality.
