Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant I for the Intensive Care Unit at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC. This per diem, part-time role supports critical patient care in a high-acuity unit and requires CNA certification and NC registry.

You will perform basic patient care, assist with admissions, and respond to patient needs while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Current registration with North Carolina Division of Facility Services.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the admission of patients to the unit, including orientation to the unit and equipment.
• Responds to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to the appropriate person.
• Assists with implementing the nursing plan of care by carrying out delegated tasks.
• Assists in maintaining patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Access to medication/supply room to retrieve patient care items.
• Maintains a well-stocked, clean patient environment.
• Participates in cost containment and accurate charging for patient services.
• Engages in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
