UCLA Health in Santa Monica is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for our 4CW Intensive Care Unit. Reporting to the Unit Director, you will lead nursing teams, model clinical best practices, and foster shared governance to deliver exceptional patient care.

You will oversee staffing, budgets, and resources while collaborating with clinical educators to develop core competencies. This leadership role offers autonomy, opportunities for growth, and the chance to advance critical care within UCLA

Qualifications

• Current, valid CA RN license
• BSN required, MSN highly desirable
• 5 years of ICU RN experience
• At least two years of charge RN or nurse leadership experience
• BLS from the ARC or AHA
• Nursing Professional Leadership and/or CCRN desirable
• Progressive leadership positions highly preferred
• Exceptional communication, coaching and conflict resolution skills
• Advanced clinical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
• Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments

Responsibilities

• Model clinical best practices and promote shared governance.
• Establish clinical departmental goals and supervise staff.
• Collaborate with clinical educators to develop core competencies.
• Oversee human, financial, and physical resources to ensure high-quality care.
• Share 24/7 management responsibility with the Unit Director.
