Qualifications

• Must have RN Degree from an accredited institution.
• Must have RN License Active in IDFPR.
• Must have BLS Certification; ACLS Certification Highly Preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative, educational and resource services to the nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to enhance clinical performance and facilitate quality patient care outcomes.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and unit staffing to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Serve as Permanent Charge Nurse, implementing the plan of care and documenting nursing interventions.
• Educate and prepare staff for accreditation visits (IDPH & TJC).
• Coordinate orientation of new staff and agency personnel.
