Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an ICU-skilled registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute setting. The role includes assessment, planning, and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, with emphasis on patient and family-centered care.

Job description

This position involves providing direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, safety promotion, and participation in professional development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide specialized critical care, including pre/post-op cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac, neuro, pulmonary, renal, and medical services.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree, RN license.
• Preferred: BSN degree and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, specialized critical care training preferred.
