Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for ICU. This full-time, on-site position runs 7:00am–7:30pm, totaling 36 hours weekly with rotating weekends and holidays.

The CNA will assist RNs with basic patient care, admissions, and daily tasks while following state laws and hospital policies. Prior CNA experience and medical terminology knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification.
• CNA experience in healthcare setting preferred; at least 1 year for specialty nursing departments preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Manages inventory/ordering of supplies using Meditech; stocks patient rooms.
• Performs clerical tasks and inter-department communications as needed.
• Cares for patients with duties such as bathing, vital signs, mobility, and diet assistance.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and adherence to policies.
