Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment in Moses Lake, Washington. An active WA or compact RN license and BLS are required; ACLS, PALS, TNCC, PEARS, and moderate sedation training are expected within specified timelines.

The role is in an ICU within a hospital setting, with 36 hours per week, nights (3x12s), and a 13-week assignment. Pay includes a weekly up to $2,326 plus stipends; start date is Sep 28, 2026, with 1 opening.

Qualifications

• Active WA state RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification required within 12 months of hire
• TNCC certification required within 12 months of hire
• PEARS certification required within 12 months of hire
• Moderate sedation training required within 12 months of hire and annually thereafter
• Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments

Responsibilities

• Functions as direct caregiver and care manager, overseeing and delegating tasks to other nursing and non-nursing staff
• May serve as Charge Nurse, including patient assignment and coordinating admissions/discharges/transfers
• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and documentation via EMR or paper records
• Provides patient and family education based on identified learning needs
• Adheres to safety and infection control standards
• Works with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
