Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Direct patient care in the ICU and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.

Education

RN license

BSN preferred

Critical Care Course preferred

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire

Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current

CCRN Certification preferred
