Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is seeking an ICU CCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead and coordinate patient care on designated shifts. You will assess patient conditions, maintain detailed reports, and collaborate with the health-care team to adjust the plan of care as needed.

You will delegate nursing tasks, ensure accountability for patient care, and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers while upholding safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care.
• Delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and safe but retain accountability for patient care.
• Provide individualized education for the patient, family, and/or caregiver throughout the continuum of care.
• Adhere to standards of safety and infection control in patient care.
