Job summary

MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This full-time night-shift position operates on a 12-hour shift structure, providing nursing/clinical support in a fast-paced ICU environment.

The CNA II will assist with patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing direct and indirect duties as needed to support patient well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CNA or LNA license required; BLS certification required or within 30 days of start.
• At least six months CNA/LNA experience; demonstrates competency in essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration of nursing care to designated patients under RN supervision.
• Perform direct and indirect care duties as assigned.
