Qualifications

• BSN required; active RN license and BLS required.
• Master's in Nursing preferred.
• 3–5 years in related clinical area; 0–1 year supervisory/leadership experience.
• Ability to lead, make decisions, and delegate in a fast-paced ICU setting.
• Experience with electronic health record systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day ICU operations including patient acuity, throughput, and staffing.
• Provides clinical consultation and guidance on nursing practice and standards of care.
• Interprets changes in practice and supports competency development.
• Collaborates with staff and other departments to ensure seamless care progression.
• Manages hiring, annual reviews, scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews.
• Acts as a leader in quality and safety initiatives and participates in Faculty Hours.
