Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) for the Inpatient Critical Care/ICU at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time role involves rotating day shifts with no overnights and travel to nearby hospitals for cross-coverage as needed.

You will work within the Critical Care department under collaborating physicians, performing exams, ordering tests, and managing care for critically ill patients in the ICU and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• IL APN/PA licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Master's Degree program OR APN Masters (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) Program.
• BLS/CPR & ACLS certification required.
• Experience: Prior APN/PA experience preferred.
• Will consider ANP or FNP with relevant experience & training.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to ICU patients under physician supervision.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, order tests and interpret results.
• Educate patients on regimens and post-operative care.
• Maintain records and progress notes through treatment course.
• Collaborate with physicians and health-care team to achieve outcomes.
• Promote wellness and participate in standards of practice development.
