Pulmonary Medicine Associates (PMA), a leading Northern California medical practice, has a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner opening to join our hospital ICU care team in the Napa area. NP's work with physicians to provide high-quality care. Training provided.

Must be able to work night shifts. Competitive salary and excellent benefits. Duties include caring for ICU patients under physician supervision, conducting histories and exams, ordering tests, prescribing, documenting in the EMR,

Qualifikationen

ARNP degree from an accredited program.
Current California NP license (ACNP) required.
Board certification in relevant specialty.
DEA registration without restriction.

Aufgaben

Provide care to hospital ICU patients under physician supervision.
Conduct histories and physical exams; order tests; prescribe.
Collaborate with the care team to optimize plans.
Educate patients and families; provide materials.
Document services in the EMR.
Participate in quality improvement and education.
Assist in resolving patient inquiries.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
