Job Summary

The ICT Engineer Senior Associate will work with senior design staff to advance ICT design skills for commercial building design and construction, gaining hands-on experience in designing low voltage projects. They will produce construction documents, assist in project specifications, and support construction administration, working closely with the Engineering and Project Management Teams.

They will receive instructions based on routine and new tasks, work independently exercising discretion, or serve as lead on limited scope projects, aligning with organizational goals and departmental objectives.

Essential Functions
  1. Assist in Production of Low Voltage System (ICT, Security, A/V) Engineering Deliverables (75%)
  • Support BIM / CAD deliverables including Revit models and AutoCAD drawings.
  • Perform design tasks under supervision.
  • Support project delivery, document management, and coordination.
  • Complete BIM / CAD work within budget and deadlines.
  • Assist in Pre-Construction Activities (10%)
    • Survey buildings, prepare reports, collect data, and draft documents.
  • Assist in Construction Activities (15%)
    • Review shop drawings, RFIs, punch lists, and prepare progress reports.

    Complete tasks on time and within budget. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements
    Position Requirements
    • Knowledge of networking, cabling, and components.
    • Knowledge of AV, Access Control, CCTV systems.
    • Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office Suite.
    • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to leverage emerging technologies.
    • Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and remotely, and in teams.
    Physical Demands

    Must manipulate small parts, remain stationary, move through various environments, ascend/descend stairs, and occasionally move equipment up to 25 pounds.

    Travel / Relocation

    Up to 10% travel across the US for client sites, meetings, or industry events.

    Education / Experience
    • Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, construction, or related field, or
    • One year of experience with Revit/AutoCAD focused on low voltage design plus three years of relevant experience.
