Job summary

A leading control systems engineering firm in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Consultant to design and implement control systems. Responsibilities include programming PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA systems, developing specifications, and collaborating with clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and programming control systems with emphasis on PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
• Familiarity with common control system documents, such as P&IDs, I/O Lists, and C&Es.
• Experience with control system networking technologies and PC networking.

Responsibilities

• Program and configure PLC, HMI, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Design, develop, and implement automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and start-up control systems onsite.
