Job summary

Family Partnerships of Central Florida is seeking an OCS/ICPC Care Manager to provide family-centered, strength-based assessments, planning, and advocacy for children and families. You will manage out-of-county cases, coordinate services, and train in Child Protection Certification.

Responsibilities include safety planning, permanency development, and court involvement, with a focus on timely reunification or guardianship outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED + 4+ years of social work or human services experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; multiple pathways acknowledged.
• Must obtain Child Welfare Case Manager Certification within 12 months of paid pre-service training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Complete required certification and pass exam with a 78%+ score.
• Conduct family function and child safety assessments and monitor safety plans.
• Identify and develop plans to achieve permanency for children in out-of-home care.
• Assess needs, develop service plans, coordinate services, ensure referrals are completed.
• Prepare court reports and testify at hearings when required.
• Maintain case documentation in SACWIS and related systems within timeframes.
• Engage with families, conduct home visits, and monitor visitation for safety.
• Provide support to stabilize placements and facilitate permanency timelines.
