• Proven experience delivering data migration into CLM or comparable enterprise systems (Icertis strongly preferred).
• Strong SQL and ETL skills for extraction, cleansing, and transformation.
• Familiarity with Icertis data structures, configuration workbooks, and metadata models.
• Experience with document-migration processes (folder structures, document categorization, metadata linking).
• Understanding of Icertis API behaviors and limitations (standard responses, UTC dates, throttling, rich-text fields).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data and document issues across multiple systems.
• Ability to work in the McLean, VA area as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and maintain the Icertis Data & Document Migration Strategy, including scope, sequencing, dependencies, and environment readiness.
• Lead refinement of data mapping workbooks (mandatory fields, attribute-level logic, and legacy-to-ICI object structures).
• Define and manage document migration requirements, including parent/child folder structures, document types, metadata, and linkage rules.
• Validate alignment across configuration workbooks, migration templates, and ICI API constraints (UTC timestamps, rich-text fields, throttling, standardized responses).
• Validate document readiness for Discover AI extraction where applicable.
• Provide technical oversight to data conversion and ETL developers across extract, transform, validate, and load cycles.
• Reconcile legacy data and documents against Icertis load results for accuracy and completeness.
• Troubleshoot data mapping, document linkage, and API-related defects across mock cycles.

• Provide status updates and partner with internal and vendor teams to resolve issues.

About the Opportunity

ZipStaff is seeking an Icertis Data Migration SME to support the rollout of Icertis CLM as part of a broader enterprise transformation program at a leading government consulting and professional services organization.

You will be the primary expert responsible for migrating structured contract data and unstructured contract documents from legacy systems into the Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) platform. This role ensures accuracy, completeness, traceability, and compliance with Icertis API standards, ICI object models, metadata requirements, and document-handling rules.
