Job summary

Edgewood Tahoe Resort is seeking an Ice Rink Attendant to ensure a safe, upscale skating experience for guests. You will maintain the ice, assist with skate rentals, and provide high-level guest service in a luxury resort setting.

You will greet guests, monitor safety, prepare rental equipment, and help coordinate events while keeping rink and surrounding areas clean and inviting, even during nights and holidays.

Qualifications

As an Ice Rink Attendant at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will ensure an exceptional and safe skating experience for guests by maintaining the ice rink, assisting skaters, and providing outstanding customer service in a luxury resort setting. This role requires attentiveness to guest needs, rink safety, and overall cleanliness, as well as the ability to create a welcoming and festive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, provide information about skating sessions, and ensure an upscale guest experience.
• Assist guests with skate rentals, fittings, and proper usage of ice rink equipment.
• Offer exceptional hospitality, anticipating guest needs and personalizing their experience.
• Monitor the rink to ensure safety, enforce rules, and provide assistance to skaters as needed.
• Maintain and organize skate rental inventory, ensuring skates are clean, sharpened, and properly stored.
• Assist in coordinating special skating events, themed nights, and private bookings.
• Keep the rink area, rental booth, and surrounding spaces clean, organized, and aesthetically appealing.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and emergencies in a professional manner.
• Inspect the ice surface regularly and report any necessary maintenance or hazards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
