Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking a Production Technician to operate high-speed production equipment and related support systems while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. You will handle product and size changeovers, log daily activities, and aid in equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated work experience and knowledge of mechanical or industrial equipment.
• Understand basic hand tools.
• Prior work experience with robotic equipment.
• Ability to learn and understand machine operation including major components and how these components are integrated into a fully functional machine.
• Ability to troubleshoot & remedy basic operational problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed production equipment and support equipment safely.
• Perform product and size changeovers.
• Complete daily production and quality logs.
• Keep the work area neat and orderly.
• Carry out daily and weekly maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Assist plant engineers and mechanics in higher-level maintenance tasks.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
