A leading amusement park company in New Jersey is looking for energetic Ice Cream Attendants to join their Food & Beverage team for the season. This role offers a great opportunity for teens and first-time workers to gain experience in customer service and teamwork. You will serve ice cream and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming work environment. Weekend and holiday availability is essential, with no prior experience required as training will be provided.

Job description

Diggerland USA is looking for energetic, friendly, and reliable Ice Cream Attendants to join our Food & Beverage team for the season! This is a great opportunity for teens and first-time workers to gain experience in customer service, food service, and teamwork in an amusement park environment.

Ice Cream Attendants play a key role in creating a positive guest experience by serving ice cream and frozen treats while keeping work areas clean, safe, and welcoming.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve ice cream, soft serve, and frozen desserts
• Operate, maintain, and clean soft-serve machines and basic food service equipment
• Take customer orders and operate a POS (Point of Sale) system
• Provide friendly, fast, and professional guest service
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked work areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent guest experiences
• Answer guest questions and assist park visitors as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and peak season shifts
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for long periods
