This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (up to 24 hours per week) Ice Core Lab Assistant positions at Oregon State University (OSU). The role involves assisting ice core laboratory staff and students.
Assist ice core laboratory faculty, staff, and students with ice core analysis of gases and other constituents, design and fabrication of parts and hardware, data interpretation, and other basic lab tasks.
*International students may carry fewer hours if approved by the Office of International Services.
Excellent communication and quantitative skills, experience with hand tools, basic software proficiency, ability to work in -25°C for at least 30 minutes, and lift at least 50 pounds.
