Job summary

Continental is seeking an Ice Cleaner Setup Tech III to operate and maintain a robotic dry ice cleaning system in Mount Vernon, IL. You will ensure product safety and quality, working solo or with a team, and follow all safety and testing procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with supervisors and colleagues. Evening/ weekend shifts are possible in this non-climate controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 1 year Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years mechanical experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ice cleaning machine and associated equipment safely.
• Follow instructions and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Identify defective parts and perform re-blasting as needed.
• Maintain safety compliance and report testing updates to supervisors.
• Mentor junior operators and support preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all safety policies and ESH procedures are implemented.
