Aquatech is hiring an entry-level Applications Engineer to join our Hartland, Wisconsin office. You will work with clients to define key process performance needs and develop designs that incorporate evaporation and crystallization technology.

The role requires a chemical engineering background with a minimum GPA, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Expect full-time, on-site work with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field (3.0 GPA or higher).
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Engage with clients to understand process needs and define requirements.
• Develop process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technologies.
• Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates for equipment scope.
• Participate in client meetings with sales as a technical expert.
• Create content to support business development and pilot testing programs.
• Perform heat and material balances, P&ID, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution and startup.

The hours of this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. **Job Description:*** Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs.* Develop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology.* Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance.* Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope.* Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert.* Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives.* Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation.* Complete engineering activities, including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layout.* Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up.* Other duties as assigned.**Skill Requirements:** * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint* Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude* Possess strong mechanical aptitude**Benefits:**Aquatech offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, company-paid holidays, and a 401 (k) plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).**Physical Job Demands:**Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
