Job summary

Liberty Home Care in North Carolina seeks an experienced HIM Field Coder to deliver accurate pre-authorization ICD coding for LHRS facilities and to input codes into the EHR with a tight turnaround. The role supports staff during hires and vacancies, and provides coding resources as needed.

Applicants must hold RHIA (BS) or RHIT (AAS) certification and demonstrate extensive ICD-10-CM knowledge, with 1–3 years in LTC or home health/hospice coding. A valid NC driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• RHIA or RHIT certification required.
• Extensive ICD-10-CM coding knowledge.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
