Job summary

Hillsborough Community College seeks adjunct instructors to teach Medical Assisting, Nurse Assisting, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomy, EKG, Massage Therapy and related subjects. Classes run morning, afternoon and evening at several Hillsborough County locations.

Strong communication and hands-on training skills are essential. Applicants need at least an Associate’s Degree and/or certification with 2+ years in the field; substitute experience for education is permitted.

Prefer applicants with: (1) more than basic qualifications, (2) current license or certification, (3) strong facilitation and training skills and (4) a dedication to meet or exceed high standards (5) prior teaching experience.

Pay Rate

ICCE Healthcare (Adjunct) Instructors will be paid between $20 and $40 per hour based on their qualifications, training skill level and the course being taught.
