Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced ICAM Technical Project Manager to lead and manage large IT projects across the full lifecycle in a federal government environment. The role requires strong background in Agile delivery, IT operations, IAM/ICAM, and security compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple teams, maintaining stakeholder communications, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with adherence to contract requirements and standards.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in IT or related lead roles.
  • 7+ years as Project Manager in IT.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale federal IT projects.
  • Experience supervising IT operations including systems integration, user support, deployment and training.
  • Strong understanding of IT, Identity and Access Management (IAM), ICAM and AWS GovCloud environments.
  • Active PMP certification.
  • ITIL Foundation or demonstrated knowledge of ITIL-based service management.
  • Experience managing Agile development teams and understanding impact on architecture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present to senior leadership.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must possess or be eligible for a Public Trust (Tier 4/6c) security clearance.
  • Expert knowledge of recent advances in computer science, cloud, and systems engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project delivery, IT operations, identity and access management, and federal security and compliance standards. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the Information Technology domain.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex federal IT projects.
  • Experience supervising IT operations including systems integration, user support, deployment, and training.
  • Strong understanding of IT, Identity and Access Management (IAM), ICAM and AWS GovCloud environments.
  • Active PMP certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrated knowledge of ITIL-based service management.
  • Experience managing Agile development teams and understanding how enhancements or defects impact architecture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present to senior leadership.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 4/6c) security clearance.
  • Expert knowledge of recent advances in computer science, cloud, and systems engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual a0s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
