A leading technology integrator in Virginia is seeking an experienced Sailpoint Developer to provide expertise and engineering direction for their Identity Management Development team. The role includes defining team practices, coordinating projects, and maintaining the architectural vision for Sailpoint delivery. Candidates should have extensive IT experience with a strong focus on Sailpoint IdentityIQ and related technologies. The position offers remote work with occasional travel.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years overall Information Technology experience.
  • 5+ years application development experience (any language).
  • 5+ years' experience working directly with Sailpoint IdentityIQ.
  • Understands Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline creation.
  • Familiarity with DoD / IC Information Security requirements.

Overview

TS/SCI eligible with travel once a month to come to location, probably on the East Coast. The rest is remote work, with occasional site visits scattered around in there. ICAM Identity Management SWE: The candidate will provide Sailpoint development expertise and engineering direction for the Sailpoint Identity Management Development team, including the definition and enforcement of team development practices, scheduling and running internal and external meetings to achieve decision points, coordination between internal teams and third parties, delivering and maintaining the architectural vision for the Sailpoint delivery to all networks in accordance with direction from Leadership, provide technical guidance to team members and external third parties, and provide troubleshooting and problem determination expertise as required.

  • Deliver and maintain the architectural vision for the Sailpoint delivery to all networks in accordance with direction from Leadership.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and external third parties.
  • Provide troubleshooting and problem determination expertise as required.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years overall Information Technology experience.
  • 5+ years application development experience (any language, including interpreted languages).
  • 5+ years' experience working directly with Sailpoint IdentityIQ.
  • 5+ years' experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
  • Identity Management, Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management.
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline creation and integration.
  • Linux / UNIX.
  • Active Directory (concepts and integration, not necessarily administration).
  • Open ID Connect, OAuth2, SAML.
  • Ability to program in one or more languages (including interpreted languages or shell programming).
  • Firm understanding of IPv4 networking concepts.
  • Cryptographic concepts including Public Key Infrastructure, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hash algorithms, etc.
  • Cryptographic authentication.
  • Application architecture and design.
  • Relational databases and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with DoD / IC Information Security requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Diplomacy – ability to mediate between dissenting parties to achieve a desired outcome without alienating the group.
  • Capability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to leadership for decisioning.
  • Up to 25% travel.
