Exxon Mobil Corporation is seeking IC&E Technicians in the Bakken area (Williston, Tioga, and Alexander) to maintain and troubleshoot field instrumentation and safety systems.

This hands-on role requires outdoor work in a rotating schedule with on-call responsibilities, and candidates should have 3+ years of related experience or an electrical/automation degree.

Qualifikationen

• Driver's license and clean MVR.
• Pass pre-employment D&A screening and background check.
• Ability to work outside and alone.
• Available for overtime and callouts during scheduled workdays.
• 3+ years of applicable work experience and/or a certificate/ associate/ bachelor degree in electrical engineering, automation, or related.

What role you will play on our team

ExxonMobil is seeking IC&E Technicians in the Bakken area (Williston, Tioga, and Alexander).

What you will do

• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot transmitters, valves, switches, sensors
• Calibrate and test safety systems, including ESDs and fire/gas detection systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, RTUs, motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, and field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters).
• Knowledge and ability to safely work on control circuits in enclosures with other AC/DC circuits.
• Ability to coordinate, communicate and work with employees from other contract companies, crafts, and or other departments to meet a common goal.
• This is an extremely “hands‑on” position requiring outdoor field work that also requires being part of a rotation with others to support the field on an after-hours, on-call basis.

About you

• 3+ years applicable work experience and/or secondary schooling including certificate, associate, or bachelor degree in electrical engineering, automation, or related. Relevent years of experience may be considered as substitution for eductation requirement.
